Schedule: Full-Time 6:00AM-2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Hourly Rate: $22.49
San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living:
Nestled in San Francisco's Excelsior neighborhood on a nine-acre campus, the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) is a center of excellence in providing a continuum of care. This includes the Frank Residences, offering luxurious assisted living and memory care services; the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, featuring long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and an acute psychiatric unit specialized in mental healthcare for older adults over age 55; and the Jewish Home and Senior Living Foundation.
Grounded in the Jewish values of dignity, compassion, and community, the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living, fondly referred to in the past as "the Jewish Home," was founded in 1871. Today, 150 years later, it continues to build upon its legacy of enriching the lives of older adults.
What youll do as a Shuttle Driver for SFCJL:
- Transport residents to and from scheduled appointments; assist residents from floor to vehicle and back to the floor; assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles (including check-in at medical appointments).
- Respond to transport requests from Nursing, or any other Department that may need shuttle services.
- Perform daily safety checks on vehicles; complete and submit the checklist to the supervisor daily.
- Maintain records of maintenance work done to the vehicles and file weekly in the log book.
- Clean the interior of vehicles daily, ensuring each is neat and clean.

For you to be a successful Shuttle Driver for SFCJL:
- Three years as a licensed driver
- Valid class C driver's license, with no suspensions or revocations in the prior three years
- Ability to read, write and comprehend verbal and written instructions in English
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, and act as a backup for fellow drivers
- Ability to use calmly and appropriately deal with emergencies
