Responsibilities
The Community Outreach and Government Affairs coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to C-suite executives while also playing a key part in supporting high level activities. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted liaison between executive leadership, community partners, and government entities, ensuring seamless communication and efficient execution of strategic initiatives. person to do here.
Requirements
Provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to board members, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Manage complex calendars, schedule appointments, expense reports and coordinate travel arrangements for C-suite executives and board of directors.
Prepare meeting agendas, briefing materials, and executive presentations.
Draft, review and manage executive correspondence and communications.
Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Assist in planning and executing community engagement events and initiatives.
Liaise with community organizations and non-profit partners to support corporate social responsibility goals.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in executive assistance, with additional experience in event planning, community outreach or government affairs considered as an asset.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Relations, Political Science, or a related field preferred.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital collaboration tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
