Programs Coordinator

San Gabriel Valley Habitat For Humanity
Monrovia, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 4/15/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 6/15/2025

Description

Company Description In 1990, a small group of dedicated volunteers with a desire to eliminate substandard housing in our community founded San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity.  Thanks to our supporters, more than 300 local and international families have been able to build or repair their own homes here in Los Angeles’ San Gabriel Valley and beyond. Through the years, we have maintained our unrelenting determination to help families in need by offering a hand up, not a handout. Through donations, shopping at our ReStores, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.
Job Summary The Programs Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting San Gabriel Valley (SGV) Habitat for Humanity's programs and services to the community. This position will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations and administration of our Housing Programs, with a focus on Home Preservation (critical home repairs and Fire related repairs) ensuring that clients receive timely and effective support throughout their participation. The coordinator will work closely with the Home Preservation Program Manager, Director of Programs, and other team members to maintain the efficiency of program delivery, including client intake, data management, and outreach activities. Beyond Home Preservation, this role will also support all our Housing Programs as appropriate, knowing that we will see an increase in intakes, applications, and general programming goals to support our community in response to the Eaton Fire. This is a key role in helping to achieve the organization's goals of expanding access to affordable housing services and addressing the increased demand for repairs, rebuilding, and affordable homeownership opportunities in the wake of the Eaton Fire.
