We are hiring a Member Development Representative to join our team!
Must reside in California - remote position.
What You Will Be Doing:
Under direct supervision, responsible for participating in outreach efforts to educate the community about HPSJ’s program and services and establishing and maintaining relationships with community partners throughout HPSJ’s service area.
Eligible for remote work.

Essential Functions:
- Attends approved outreach events; distributes material to educate attendees about HPSJ’s program and services; develops leads by conducting pre-screening of prospective members for enrollment into HPSJ or Medi-Cal application assistance; conducts presentations.
- Represents HPSJ at approved community meetings to network, identify potential partnerships and visibility opportunities, and other marketing opportunities.
- Assists in event preparation, including setup and takedown.
- Receives and initiates calls to potential members to provide information, conduct initial eligibility, follow-up on leads, and for other reasons as required.
- Creates required documentation, including but not limited to call logs and other tracking systems.

- Proficiency (as defined by HPSJ’s Cultural and Linguistics Program) in one of HPSJ’s threshold languages may be required, depending on business requirements.
What You Have:
- High school diploma or general education degree; and
- One year in a similar position; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
