Job Summary
Under direct supervision of the Director, Alternative Programs. At single or multiple sites, using specialized techniques, provides instruction in identified social and academic areas which meet individual and group needs of students who have been unable to succeed in established elementary and high schools and/or continuation schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
Successful candidate must possess a valid California credential or have the ability to secure a California credential. Interns are accepted.

The one. Program has established a CARE classroom at Delta Sierra Middle School, designed to support up to twenty-two (22) 7th and 8th grade students who faced academic challenges in the previous school year. These students are dually enrolled in both the CARE program and Delta Sierra Middle School. The classroom is self-contained, with the teacher responsible for delivering instruction in four core subjects. The teacher will utilize curriculum and technology provided by Delta Sierra Middle School. Building positive relationships with students and their families will be essential to the success of the program.
