Under direction of the Deputy Director of Passenger Experience and Communications (Deputy Director), the Public Relations Manager is responsible for leading efforts related to earned media, community outreach, stakeholder development, agency storytelling, and managing outreach staff and consultants. The San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC) and the San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority (SJJPA) are active transportation agencies with future minded plans for the ACE and San Joaquins services requiring active participation in corridor communities, legislative engagement, and media relations.
SJRRC seeks to employ persons whose backgrounds and abilities enhance the diversity of the demographics of the community it serves. The selection process is based on merit, and shall extend to all candidates a fair, impartial examination of qualifications based on job-related criteria.
