We’re seeking a Human Resources Technician for our Fresno office. This is a key role within the Human Resources department, responsible for:
- Maintaining and updating employee records, including database management.
- Administering benefits and liaising with insurance providers.
- Conducting new employee orientations and assisting employees with compensation and benefits questions.
- Supporting recruitment, safety initiatives, training programs, and wellness activities.
- Serving as a backup for departmental clerical support.
This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting a dynamic team.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Required: High school diploma, GED equivalent, or equivalent education/experience, plus three (3) years of clerical or administrative experience.
- Preferred: Some college coursework or experience in Human Resources is helpful but not required.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in standard office practices, business communication, and automated data management systems.
- Familiarity with basic human resources principles and practices.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain records, manage databases, and explain technical information in a clear manner.
Other Requirements:
- A valid California Driver License or the ability to obtain one upon hire (if applicable).
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to this role.
