Middle School STEM Teacher (Science / Math)

6^th-8^th grade teacher: 3 science classes, one math, and one elective. We are looking for an experienced Science teacher to act as a department head and take our Science program to the next level. The candidate should be a devoted Christian with a good understanding of the integration of faith and technology into the curriculum and a real love for working with young people, serving as a Christ-like role model for them. Teacher’s basic duties shall include, but shall not be limited to: (i) preparing and implementing classroom curriculum and leading teaching and student assignments each day school is in session; (ii) responding to parent conference requests and accommodating occasional appointments beyond normal school hours; (iii) participating fully in the activities of the School (iv) performing all duties and obligations set forth in the School’s Employee Handbook; (v) attending School events, including, but not limited to, staff meetings, admission orientations, board/faculty events, professional development days, grade level gatherings, special event days, parent teacher conference days, or other days that faculty members are required to work; and, (vi) all other School activities and duties, as required in the School’s sole discretion. Teachers are required to communicate their faith as they advance the mission of San Jose Christian school through spiritual leadership. Salary : $58,000 - $75,000
