Substitute Teacher

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a desire to teach God’s word in a loving and age-appropriate way, and availability to fill-in for longterm or short-term substitute teaching needs. At San Jose Christian, we teach students to develop a Biblical worldview where they are discerners and worldchangers. We infuse faith into every aspect of our curriculum and challenge students to make a difference in their world, even now as students. • B.A. Education
• Personal testimony and commitment to Christian faith 
• Commitment to Christian education 
• Alignment with SJCS mission and SJCS core values 
• Commitment to faith integration (SJCS Throughlines) in all lessons and roles
• Classroom teaching experience (to include student teaching)

San Jose Christian School is a Christian school for Christian families. We serve students in preschool, elementary, and middle school. Please specify the age group(s) you are most comfortable with in a teaching setting. We look forward to hearing from you.
