Job Title: Grounds Crew
Reports to: Head Groundskeeper
Contract Type: Seasonal
Salary Range: $18.50/hour
The San Jose Giants are looking for a Ground Crew member that will be able to assist the General Manager and Head Groundskeeper maintaining the stadium field. General duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: raking, mowing, repairing mound and plate area, and assisting managers as needed.

The San Jose Giants are looking for a Ground Crew member that will be able to assist the General Manager and Head Groundskeeper maintaining the stadium field. General duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: raking, mowing, repairing mound and plate area, and assisting managers as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of infield skin, mound, home plate, and bullpen
- Must perform sod work, fertilization, and pest management
- Repair and maintain the field when team is away
- Landscape planning
- Water removal/tarp crew during inclement weather
- Basic maintenance and care of landscaping equipment
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and repairs
- Availability to work majority of San Jose Giants home games
- Ability to lift and move up to at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to do physically demanding labor
- Ability to withstand exposure to temperatures, dust and airborne particles
Experience:
- Prior lawn and/or turf-grass maintenance or field maintenance experience is preferred but not required
