Grade : Position Summary
This position is responsible for working with Energy Transition Act participants to provide career coaching and pathway information, resources guidance and support.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Provides individual coaching and assists students in the Energy Transition Act program; documents sessions; refers students to campus and local community agencies for services needed.
- Intake, assessment, case management, tracking, report participation and progress of student receiving services utilizing the designated data reporting systems.
- Assists program participants with employment portfolio creation, prepares students for employment and assists with job placement.
- Refer students to various community and college resources to remove barriers for student success in earning degrees / certifications.
- Provides for certification testing at the Testing Center.
- Assists with onboarding process.
- Maintain high involvement with campus and local community, with the ability to lead and organize workshops and training sessions.
- Monitors the academic progress of program students.
- Collaborates with campus department advisors as needed.
- Provides employment post-program tracking; any and all information gathered as a result of pre- or post-assessment testing provided to the NMDWS and or / students
- Performs related duties.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION
SUPERVISORY CONTROLS
The ETA Grant Project Manager and Employment assigns work in terms of general instructions. The supervisor spot-checks completed work for compliance with procedures, accuracy, and the nature and propriety of the final results.
