POSITION : PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
DEPARTMENT : OPERATIONS
REPORTS TO : WAREHOUSE MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Supervise the operation of the facility
- Assist in the onboarding of the new hires
- Maintain clean and safe working environment
- Monitor and prioritize workflow oof production to meet the deadlines
- Monitor and recording the CCP
- Conduct annual review of the staff performance
- In-charge of production schedule
- Ensure and maintain a high level of sanitation, food safety and safe working environment
- Report to the plant manager any problem with USDA with regards to food safety.
- Ensure all meat /products are in good/fresh quality
- Oversee that all equipment are functional and adhere the safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous management /supervisory experience in a food processing company is a must (3 to 5 years)
- knowledge in two languages: English and Spanish
- Solid knowledge of food safety standard
- HACCP experience is an asset
- Must be computer literate
- Ability to work in a cold refrigerated environment
- Ability to operate machineries such as bandsaw, slicer, dicer, pallet jack etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Flexible to work long hours if needed to meet the deadlines
- Able to stand, walk move for long hours
- Willing to work on the weekend if needed
Salary : $51,700 - $65,500
