Job Description
The Physical Therapy Assistant will provide direct rehab care to patients upon physician referral under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will follow physical therapy treatment plans, utilize therapy software appropriately, and maintain accurate records. You will also participate in community health matters and projects as appropriate, and maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT). You should also be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email, and knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care facility. Additionally, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
