Job Summary
This assignment is located at Laguna Middle School. SLCUSD is seeking a teacher who is authorized to teach 7th and 8th grade history in Spanish. Some History sections may be taught in English as well. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
Job Description / Essential Elements:

Requirements / Qualifications
Must possess, or be eligible for, a California credential authorizing instruction in Social Science, typically a Single Subject credential. A Multiple Subject credential with supplemental authorizations in Social Science or History will also be considered. Fluency in Spanish and English is required and the candidate must hold a Bilingual Authorization in Spanish or qualify for an emergency Bilingual Authorization (Spanish). If you have not yet completed your credential program, please provide a status letter from your university providing anticipated completion date and subject authorizations.
If you do not hold a Bilingual Authorization in Spanish, please provide test results for the CSET 147 or proof of registration for the exam.
