What are the responsibilities and job description for the Library Media Center Technician position at San Luis Coastal USD?
The purpose of this recruitment is to fill a vacancy for a full-time Library Media Center Technician at Morro Bay High School. The eligibility list created through this recruitment may also be used to fill vacancies that occur throughout the district over a six month period.
Library Media Center Technicians for the San Luis Coastal Unified School District perform a variety of technical and specialized library duties in an elementary school, middle school, high school, or continuation school library media center, assist teachers and students in using library materials and technology resources, assist students in library and computer skills, and perform related duties as assigned.
**Qualified candidates will possess a Library Technology Certificate or equivalent certification, as well as experience in a library media center.** Candidates within six months of completing a certificate program may be considered but the program must be completed and certificate issued before the end of the probationary period. Additional qualification criteria may apply.
