Job Summary: Assist in providing educational programs for students who are deaf/hard of hearing, and who may also have other physical or mental disabilities. Perform a variety of routine tasks to assist and care for children assigned to school programs.
Requirements/Qualifications*: Registry of Interpreters for Deaf (RID) certification or equivalent (passing score of 4.0 as required by regulation, on the EIPA, the ESSE-I, or the NAD/ACCI assessment). *Candidates without a qualifying certification may apply. Selected candidates will be tested for interpreting skills.
Location: Grover Beach, CA
Length of Work Year: School Year, Monday-Friday, 6.0 hrs/day, 8:00am-2:30pm
