The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area. The Pool Attendant is also responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the pool area for guests and associates.

The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area. The Pool Attendant is also responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the pool area for guests and associates.
Responsibilities
- Walk pool area and remove newspapers, trays, empty ash urns, remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
- Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests, fellow employees and self.
- Handle items for “lost and found” according to the hotel standards.
- Report maintenance issues to F&B Manager/Supervisor and ensure logged in to “Alice” system.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and or 20 pounds of force consistently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must be able to multi task.
