San Luis Valley Health is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team! The Talent Acquisition Specialist, under the direction of the Director of Physician Support Services and Clinic Administrator is responsible for all activities in relation to recruiting physician and advanced practice providers, including sourcing of candidates, site visit coordination, and onboarding of provider staff.
Successful candidate must possess the following qualifications, education and skills:
- BA in Business or health-related field or experience in personnel recruitment/health-related field preferred: willing to train the right candidate
- Excellent skills in the areas of organization, written and oral communication, confidentiality, integrity, and teamwork
- This position requires that a positive and professional image be maintained at all times when representing/acting on behalf of SLV Health
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as a liaison between SLV Health and physician staff members and candidates, direct and conduct physician and allied health recruitment sourcing
- Coordinate candidate site visit itineraries, assist with the medical staff credentialing process, and develop orientation and onboarding schedules for new providers
- Manage locum tenens hiring with locum tenens agencies and independent contractors; arrange/assist with location of temporary housing and transportation needs
