San Marcos Academy is seeking someone to drive enrollment growth by leading a high-performing team to maximize the admissions process and retention. Manage the acceptance and enrollment pipeline, ensuring a seamless, results-driven process that meets and exceeds aggressive enrollment targets. Optimize market analytics, increase student retention, and contribute directly to the institution’s financial success. Report goals and results monthly to the Executive Council and specific departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead and motivate the Admissions Team to achieve and exceed one, three and five year enrollment targets
- Develop and implement tactics to drive sustainable growth in both day and boarding student enrollment
- Oversee and manage the entire admissions process, from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and exceptional customer service and track results in real-time
- Conduct and oversee interviews and group tours, ensuring prospective families fully understand the academic and spiritual foundation of the school
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective families through proactive communication and engagement while maintaining contact with families who might be in various stages of the inquiry cycle following up with those who very well may have completely lost touch due to scheduling, financial constraints, etc.
- Track and analyze all aspects of enrollment data to identify trends, optimize recruitment efforts, and refine admission strategies
- Collaborate with Marketing to enhance outreach efforts while actively pursuing inbound and outbound leads and fostering various community and industry relationships to promote the institution and its Admissions process
- Communicate consistently with families through various platforms, ensuring transparency and engagement
- Perform additional assignments as directed in alignment with enrollment and school growth objectives
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in admissions, sales, and team leadership
- Proficiency with technology, SIS, CRM, and other database management (Blackbaud preferred)
- High-level customer service skills and a passion for guiding families through admissions to closing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks

Compensation: Determined by qualifications and related experience.
