Positive, service-oriented, energetic and self-motivated Barista to join our team. The Barista will work closely with San Martin’s Food & Beverage team. This position’s primary function is to serve quality products to customers in a friendly and professional manner while adhering to the standards set by San Martin Bakery
- Develops knowledge on goods sold in our coffeehouse including coffee, teas and baked goods.
- Greets guests/customers in a friendly, personalized and professional manner.
- Provides quality beverages and food products while adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
- Accurately answers customer questions regarding coffee blends, preparation and other product information.
- Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages
- Checks temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, and heating equipment to ensure proper functionality
Qualifications:
- 1 Years of previous Barista Experience
- Exhibits an authentic desire to exceed the customers expectations.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency.
- Fast learner, and willing to learn every aspect of the job.
- Is resilient and bounces back quickly to setbacks.
- Can work in a fast paced environment at times.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Schedule flexibility that includes mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Provides customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions as requested
- Stocks customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation item
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
