What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR LEAD TEACHER (Position is open to FUESD CERTIFICATED EMPLOYEES only) position at SAN ONOFRE SCHOOL?
Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is accepting applications for the 2025 Lead Teacher Position. Selections will be made based on program needs and their daily availability to work for the duration of the assignment.
DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:
OPEN TO INTERNAL CURRENT CONTRACTED FUESD CERTIFICATED EMPLOYEES ONLY
The lead teacher assists in the overall supervision and coordination of the Extended School Year program.
- APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 28, 2025 - 4:00 p.m.
- LENGTH OF WORK PERIOD: 1 Mandatory Staff Meeting/Prep Day, Monday, June 2, 2025, and 19 Instructional Days, Tuesday, June 3, 2025-June 30, 2025. Except for 6/19- it is a non-work day.
- WORK SITES: San Onofre
- WORK SCHEDULE: 5.0 hours/day; Monday- Friday, 7:40 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.
- SALARY: 1 Staff Meeting/Prep Day paid at $75.00/hourly rate, 19 instructional days at
$375.00 per day (based on 5.0 hours/day). - REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Current certificated contracted employee or substitute teacher; staff will be selected based on program needs. Previous experience in ESY is preferred. Priority will be given to teachers who will work all days of the summer program. Enrollment will determine teacher need, into the first week of the program.
- EXPECTATIONS:
Assigned to the site to ensure all staff, students, and parents are supported during ESY; provide staff training; maintain appropriate records; create a document with all site information; assist with supervision; assist staff in planning programs; assist with student behavior; support parent requests and concerns; assist with staffing issues; monitor the site safety; collaborate with all pertinent staff.
