Overview:
We are seeking FOH STAFF to join our team at San Pancho! Our new San Francisco style burrito shop in the heart of Takoma Park is looking for awesome staff for our new concept (sister restaurant is Cielo Rojo). The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and be comfortable handling cash transactions in a restaurant environment. We will not have servers. Our FOH STAFF will rotate between being a cashier, working our drinks station (wine, beer and margarita slushies!), and running food. We will not have servers and therefore, they will be the face of our restaurant in every aspect of guest interactions. The concept is "fine fast", an elevated fast casual concept with a 24 seat indoor dining room and 24 seat patio.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide product information, demonstrate features, and assist with product demos
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision
- Assist customers with returns, exchanges, and refunds
- Multitask between cashier duties and customer inquiries
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in ustomer service is preferred/especially in food service setting
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Warm & dynamic personality
