What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric RN Night Shift position at San Rafael Healthcare, Inc?
San Rafael Healthcare is a Pediatric Home Health Agency that services the greater San Antonio area.
We are currently hiring an RN for a patient in 78245. He is needing a NIGHT nurse, Sunday-Thursday 6p-6a. Patient is 1 year old, has a trach/GJ tube/vent.
We also have another patient in 78245 needing Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat/Sun 7p-7a and Sat/Sun 7a-7p. She is 5 years old. Trach/Vent/GJ tube/Broviac.
We do offer thorough training! New Grads are welcome!
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of pediatric patients according to an active plan of care
- Patient assessments
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Coordination of care
- Health promotion and teaching
- Training of family members
New grads and licensed nurses without pediatric experience are welcome to apply! If you do not have pediatric experience we WILL TRAIN YOU!

- Licensed as a nurse in the state of Texas
- Current CPR
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
