Job Summary
The Brand and Digital Consultant will report to the Global Brand Director, supporting all aspects of brand identity and marketing including all digital and print materials, along with managing social media for San Vicente Clubs, Hotel 850 and The Jane Hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong creative and marketing experience in graphic and web design, digital photography, creating and managing content, copywriting, and staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities | Brand:
- Printed Collateral: Assist Brand Director with design and maintenance of all brand assets including dining menus, private event and member programming menus, OS&E items for both food & beverage and hotel; including sourcing materials, estimating costs and placing orders.
- Digital: Maintain hotel websites and club member portals, ensuring all content is up to date, including publishing monthly events, updating hours, club info and FAQs, and adding relevant announcements. Design & maintain event decks, press kits and other marketing & membership materials.
- Marketing & Communications: Assist in copywriting and content creation for SV monthly newsletters, create programming roundups on social, design & print event calendar posters, design & deploy email blasts and special invitations.
Key Responsibilities | Social:
- Content Creation: Photograph and manage high-quality, engaging content tailored to Instagram for San Vicente Clubs, Hotel 850 and The Jane Hotel, ensuring cohesive brand messaging and an elevated aesthetic.
- Community Management: Manage follower count, approve new member requests and remove terminated and cancelled members on a monthly basis. Respond to comments and messages, and foster positive relationships with followers, coordinating with Membership Team to respond to inquiries.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor social media performance and adjust strategies accordingly based on observed engagement (and metrics/reporting on non-private accounts).
- Trend Monitoring: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep our social media presence fresh, elevated, and innovative.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Brand & Digital / Social Media Manager or similar role. Experience in luxury hospitality with an understanding of exclusive club culture is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent written, communication, photography and graphic design skills that are aligned with the brand voice and aesthetic.
- Knowledge: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Squarespace, digital photography and Instagram tools and analytics. Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategies is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Personal Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to a fast-paced environment with a positive, energetic attitude and proactive sensibility.
