Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Physical Therapist with a passion for manual therapy to join our outpatient team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of patients, helping them achieve their recovery goals and optimize their physical function. Job Description
1. Caseload: Reasonable caseload of up to 7-8 patients per day, so that you go home feeling energized and happy about the work that you did.
2. One on One Sessions: 1-on-1 uninterrupted sessions with no double bookings.
3. Patient Focus: Ability to work with active adults and adolescents with some chronic pain patients who are very motivated to get back to moving pain-free.
4. Comfortable Clinic Environment: Professional “athleisure” dress code.
Key Responsibilities
1. Restore patient’s function, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities by planning and administering skilled physical therapy.
2. Help patients accomplish treatment plans by administering exercises, manual interventions, and using equipment.
3. Instruct patients in proper home exercises.
4. Accurately evaluate and record patient’s progress and modify treatments as needed.
5. Accurately document patient care services.
7. Maintain clear and open communication with clinical staff regarding personal needs and patient updates.
8. Maintain the clinic’s operation by assisting in cleaning and general upkeep as needed.
9. Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work and problem-solve in a small team environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Doctorate or master’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient setting preferred, but new graduates with a strong commitment to manual therapy are encouraged to apply.
