Sanabria & Associates, PLLC is a prestigious and rapidly expanding law firm with offices in Maryland, DC, Virginia & Florida. A successful candidate will be able to assist during all phases of the immigration process and willing to provide a high-quality level of client support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing and filing applications with USCIS, including but not limited to family-based
- Handling communication with clients, other attorney offices, judges, etc.
- Maintaining and updating filing system and client files and information.
- Drafting and filing basic legal documents, discovery requests, and correspondence.
- Monitoring deadlines and maintaining calendars
- E-filing court documents.
- Preparation and filing of custody applications in connection with applications for Special Immigrant Juvenile status.
- Schedule & calendar hearings, mediations, and depositions
- Work with lawyers to prepare for trial by conducting research on legal articles, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Residing in Maryland
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Minimum Education: College Education or equivalent
- Immigration experience (At least 2 years of experience)
