Licensed Massage Therapist - Direct Hire

Our client is searching for multiple Licensed Massage Therapists in the Tuscaloosa, AL area. Typical duties include performing professional quality massages within scope of practice and licensing, adhering to policies and protocols in accordance with applicable law, designing sessions based on the guest’s individual needs, and always upholding the client brand’s values.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas).
- If performing hot stone, deep muscle or prenatal therapy, must have appropriate training and satisfy the minimum education hours.
- Creates excellent guest experience through friendly attitude.
- Reliable, on time attendance.
- Completes documentation accurately and completely.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Those who thrive in this role are:
- Professionals who have a minimum of 650 hours of massage therapy school under their belts and a certificate of completion. You'll also need to meet the licensing requirements for massage therapy in Alabama and be able to pass a background and reference check.
- Seeking continuing education to build on their modality mastery, including Swedish and deep tissue massage.
- Great teammates who show up on time ready to jump in wherever needed to get the job done.
