SUMMARY
The Lidar Quality Engineer provides technical expertise in lidar and ensures final deliverables meet contractual specifications and exceeds customer expectations.
LOCATION : Colorado Springs, CO In-Office with Hybrid potential
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES
- Reviews all technical aspects of lidar projects, including compliance with quality / specifications.
- Performs complex lidar processing to ensure customer calls are addressed and final products meet expectations.
- Completes data processing and transformations as necessary and performs the final review of lidar files and products as needed prior to delivery.
- Complex review of software for lidar quality control and value-added services.
- Uses complete understanding of lidar principles and additional complex understanding of all geospatial and remote sensing disciplines to act as a technical expert.
- Reviews 3rd party data and provides documented feedback on issues and areas of concern.
- Follow Sanborn’s Quality Management System (QMS) to assure quality and provide ISO training to employees.
- Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range : 65K - 85K annual
