TITLE: Project Manager - Literacy
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Plan, coordinate, direct, and monitor the activities required to ensure the successful implementation, fidelity, and continuous improvement of the district-adopted 95% Group early literacy curriculum.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Literacy, Reading Specialist Certification, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Valid Arizona teaching certificate with Structured Literacy or Reading Specialist endorsement preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience teaching or leading literacy instruction at the elementary school level
- Knowledge and experience with Structured Literacy approaches, particularly the 95% Group curriculum
- Knowledge of evidence-based literacy instruction and intervention practices
- Skilled in professional development facilitation and instructional coaching
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively analyze student performance data and instructional practices
- State of Arizona Identity Verified (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and coordinate all district-wide implementation activities related to the 95% Group literacy program.
- Provide ongoing professional development, training, and coaching to teachers and instructional leaders.
- Collaborate closely with school principals, instructional coaches, and teachers to ensure fidelity of curriculum implementation.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and fidelity checks, providing constructive feedback and actionable recommendations.
- Develop and oversee implementation monitoring tools, including fidelity rubrics, data tracking systems, and progress reporting mechanisms.
- Facilitate regular Literacy Data Team meetings, guiding data-driven decision-making and instructional adjustments.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including school administration, teachers, district leadership, and families.
- Prepare and disseminate monthly reports on curriculum implementation progress, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
- Serve as the district representative and expert on literacy and the 95% Group program during community and stakeholder meetings.
- Manage and document grant compliance activities associated with literacy program funding and reporting.
- Collaborate with external partners and curriculum providers to continuously refine instructional practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to literacy improvement and program management.
This position is grant funded, and its continuation depends on the availability of future funding

SALARY: Commensurate with experience (aligned to district administrative salary schedule)
