Job Summary
The Sanco Equipment team is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers receive the parts they need in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide accurate information about products and services.
- Parts Identification: Determine the correct replacement part required based on customer requests or part inspections.
- Sales Processing: Enter purchased items into the sales/inventory system, obtain payment, and issue sales receipts.
- Inventory Management: Verify supplies, place orders when necessary, and maintain an organized inventory system.
- Stocking and Shipping: Unpack and stock items, execute freight claims, and assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
- Returns and Exchanges: Inspect returned items, process returns, and issue refunds or exchanges.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- License: Valid driver's license.
- Experience: Previous parts or automotive industry experience preferred, one to two years of counter experience preferred, and forklift experience a plus.
