Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Counter Sales Representative to join our team at Sanco Equipment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, identifying customer needs, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, take orders, and provide product information.
- Part Identification: Determine the correct replacement part required based on customer requests or part inspections.
- Sales Processing: Enter purchased items into the sales/inventory system, obtain payment, and issue sales receipts.
- Inventory Management: Verify supplies, place orders when necessary, and maintain an organized inventory system.
- Shipping and Receiving: Assist with shipping and receiving, execute freight claims, and inspect returned items.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- License: Valid driver's license.
- Experience: Previous parts or automotive industry experience preferred, one to two years of counter experience preferred, and forklift experience a plus.
