Job Summary
The Equipment Sales Representative generates new business, ensures growth of existing accounts, and assesses the potential application of Company products and/or services to offer solutions that meet customer needs.
This role requires a sales-driven individual who can effectively communicate with customers, identify their needs, and provide tailored solutions. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer follow-up and responsiveness skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Identifies prospective customers by cold calling, using business directories, following up on leads, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences
- Initiates sales campaigns and establishes marketing guidelines to meet sales expectations
- Maintains customer records and documents calls in a weekly call report
- Prepares sales contracts for orders obtained and submits orders for processing
Responsibilities
