Education
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred. Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
Required Experience
- 3 years of professional and technical experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or related role in data analytics, reporting, and visualization.
- 3 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, troubleshooting, and/or enhancing data analytics and visualization from concept through to production for complex datasets.
- Basic Knowledge of cloud computing platforms similar to Amazon Web Services, Azure or equivalent.
- Proficiency in programming languages.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data modeling.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Version control system experience.
- Data pipeline and orchestration experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare data for cleaning and preparation, filter data, handling missing values, and prepare datasets for analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Use statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyze data, identifying patterns, relationships, and trends.
- Create visual representations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards to make the data understandable at a glance.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to stakeholders, which can influence policy and decision-making processes.
- Work with other departments to understand their data needs and help them make informed decisions based on data insights.
