Responsibilities:
Sancorp is seeking a Non-Clinical Social Worker (DoD Consultant). The following are examples of responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify and characterize risk factors, develop strategies to reduce threat incidents, evaluate and recommend methods for deterring, detecting, and mitigating insider threats using social science/psychological concepts.
- Prepare and present complex findings and recommendations to upper management, carry out specific actions regarding controversial issues, and for implementing new ideas and concepts.
- Apply knowledge in DoD process and procedures with regards to policy development, interpreting orders and directives, operation on and protection of classified networks and environments to produce quality deliverables.
- Apply knowledge of DoD violence prevention initiatives, programs, and resources along with an understanding of the DoD Insider Threat Enterprise to produce quality deliverable.
- Communicate with and advise high level managers, government and/or stakeholders regarding research into human behavior and insider threat characteristics.
