Bachelor’s degree; Preferred: BA or Masters in English.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience managing federal government contracting proposals with an emphasis on the Department of Defense.
- Military or federal government civilian experience a Plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft SharePoint, and Grammarly.
- Self-motivated and an effective communicator with very strong attention to detail.
- Experience leading teams and/or managing project schedules.
- Experience with regularly changing priorities - must be able to manage multiple requests and tasks simultaneously.
Preferred
- Shipley Proposal Management, Association for Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), or equivalent training or certification.
- Experience managing proposals in the GovCon space, with a focus on professional services. Familiarity with technical, management, staffing, pricing, quality, and past performance write-ups is preferred.
Salary Negotiable based on experience, education, and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
Sancorp Consulting, LLC is seeking a Proposal Manager to support the company headquarters operations. The following are examples of the Proposal Manager’s roles and responsibilities:
- Reviewing, researching, and managing proposals, white papers, rough orders of magnitude, statements of capabilities, etc.
- Planning and coordinating efforts associated with responding to proposals such as scheduling meetings, tracking action items, and managing timelines.
- Developing, managing, and ensuring compliance with solicitation documentation.
- Developing a business development pipeline for regular reporting to management.
- Coordinating proposal workspace creation and archival as bids and responses are completed and submitted.
- Proofreading, editing, and formatting of documents.
- Supporting corporate business development efforts as needed.
