Responsibilities:
Sancorp Consulting, LLC is seeking a skilled Proposal Manager with strong expertise in managing the cradle-to-grave process of proposal projects, with a particular focus on Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of proposal submissions, including development, coordination, and compliance with all solicitation requirements. The Proposal Manager will leverage their advanced writing capabilities, leadership skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power Apps to successfully manage proposals and support business development efforts.
Responsibilities:
The Proposal Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the company’s proposal process. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Proposal Lifecycle Management:
- Full ownership of cradle-to-grave proposal management, ensuring all deadlines are met and proposals are compliant with all solicitation requirements.
- Developing and managing proposal schedules, coordinating meetings, and tracking action items.
- Delegating tasks to appropriate team members and monitoring progress to ensure efficiency and quality.
Document Management and Development:
- Reviewing, researching, and drafting proposals, white papers, rough orders of magnitude, statements of capabilities, etc.
- Proofreading, editing, and formatting proposal documents for clarity, consistency, and adherence to client specifications.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensuring all proposal submissions comply with solicitation documentation, guidelines, and applicable regulations.
- Managing and maintaining proposal workspaces, ensuring all documents are properly archived post-submission.
Business Development Support:
- Supporting the development and maintenance of the business development pipeline, including regular reporting to senior management.
- Assisting with other corporate business development efforts as required, including contributing to marketing and sales strategies.
- Team Collaboration and Coordination:
- Leading proposal teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Providing regular status updates and addressing any roadblocks or challenges that arise during the proposal development process.
