Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Special Operations Forces and/or clandestine operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with developing policy and providing recommendations related to sensitive special operations
- Experience in a national security or intelligence-related field.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Strong understanding of national security issues, intelligence gathering, and policy development.

Responsibilities
SANCORP is seeking a Special Operations Support Policy Staff Officer II to provide support to the Sensitive Activities & Special Programs (SASP) Office within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)). The following are examples of responsibilities:
- Support the oversight, management, and support to a broad spectrum of complex sensitive programs and activities.
- Assist with planning, directing, and coordinating the development of policies related to sensitive activities and support for issues that require short notice information and decision support requirements for DoD senior leaders.
- Gather, synthesize, review and/or prepare background, information and read ahead materials for issues and engagements regarding intelligence and intelligence related policy, program, and activity support to special operations including support to counterterrorism and irregular warfare.
- Support the development, review, and revision of strategy and policy direction for the coordination, assessment, reporting, and conduct of sensitive activities. Support to special operations.
