Sanctuary Recovery Centers is creating a team of committed community professionals dedicated to helping the ex-offender population break the criminal cycle and improve the quality of their lives. We provide comprehensive reintegration services to help those we serve live a productive, self-supporting, clean, sober, crime-free life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide case management services to individuals and families in need
- Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop appropriate service plans
- Collaborate with clients to set goals and monitor progress towards achieving them
- Coordinate and connect clients with community resources and support services
- Advocate for clients' rights and ensure access to necessary services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
- Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies or high-stress situations
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, counselors, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
Skills:
- Crisis management: Ability to effectively handle crisis situations and provide immediate support to individuals in distress
- Motivational interviewing: Skill in using motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients, build rapport, and facilitate behavior change
- Supervising: Experience in supervising and guiding the work of other staff members or volunteers
- Workforce development: Knowledge of workforce development programs and resources to assist clients in finding employment or improving job skills
- Addiction counseling: Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques and resources for individuals struggling with substance abuse issues
- Childcare: Ability to provide childcare services or coordinate childcare arrangements for clients as needed
- Social work: Understanding of social work principles, ethics, and practices in providing support to individuals and families
- Crisis intervention: Ability to assess crisis situations, provide immediate support, and connect individuals with appropriate resources
- Behavioral health: Knowledge of behavioral health issues and interventions, including mental health disorders and substance abuse treatment
- Child welfare: Understanding of child welfare policies, procedures, and resources for supporting children and families in need
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
