Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with physical examinations and medical procedures
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with patient care techniques and protocols
- Knowledge of memory care practices for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease is a plus
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial
