Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our short term rental. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. House must be left impeccable for guests checking in.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping tasks such as laundry, changing linens, and making beds.
- Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing hard floors as well as carpet cleaning.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition.
- Make certain house is staged properly between guest stays.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with arranging commercial repair projects as needed, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve efficient workflow and high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with residential cleaning practices and hotel housekeeping standards is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
