Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in project/program management, telecommunications industry experience, exposure to video projects, and a strong understanding of Agile methodology. This role is for a Sr level PM who must be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to prioritize and drive projects to successful completion. This is a hybrid position based in the Denver metro area. Qualified candidates must live in the Denver metro area and be willing to work in office 3 days a week. All qualified candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Please note, we cannot work C2C.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Execution: Lead video product projects through the full project lifecycle, from ideation to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders to understand business justifications, define project requirements, and prioritize initiatives to maximize value for the organization.
- Agile Methodology & Increment Planning: Manage projects using Agile methodology, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and regular stand-ups. Guide teams through increment planning and execution.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Confidently facilitate and coordinate meetings with cross-functional teams including development, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment and resolve any project-related issues.
- SDLC Understanding: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and apply this knowledge to effectively manage video product projects.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks, manage issues as they arise, and ensure that mitigation strategies are put in place.
- Project Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, deliverables, and progress reports, and communicate project status regularly to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Project Management experience, ideally in the telecommunications industry.
- JIRA experience is required for tracking project progress, managing tasks, and facilitating Agile workflows.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and experience working with increment planning.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including stages such as planning, design, testing, and deployment.
- Proven experience collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize business needs and translate them into actionable plans.
- Experience working across multiple teams and departments, confidently facilitating meetings and managing cross-functional relationships.
- Must reside in the Denver metro area and be able to work in a hybrid setting (with some on-site and remote work flexibility).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in the telecommunications industry, particularly with video or related products.
- PMP or Agile certifications are a plus but not required.
Compensation
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long-term consulting engagement, with an hourly range of $75-$85. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
