Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Interior Scaping Plant Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for interior plants and plant installations in a variety of commercial and residential settings. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for horticulture and plant care who are looking to work in a dynamic and growing field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plant Care & Maintenance: Watering, fertilizing, trimming, pruning, and monitoring plant health in interior spaces.
• Plant Installation: Assist in the design, installation, and placement of plants in interior spaces, ensuring they complement the aesthetics of the environment.
• Pest and Disease Management: Monitor plants for signs of pests or diseases and take appropriate actions to manage and prevent issues.
• Client Interaction: Maintain positive relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and advice on plant care.
• Inventory Management: Assist with tracking plant inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that plants are available for new installations or replacements.
• Plant Rotation: Rotate and replace plants as needed to keep displays looking fresh and healthy.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of plant maintenance schedules and client preferences.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in plant care, interior landscaping, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with indoor plant species and their specific care requirements is a plus.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and address plant health issues quickly and effectively.
• Driving: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for traveling to client locations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A keen eye for design and aesthetic appeal in plant placements.
• Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly plant care practices.
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in plant care, such as pruners, watering systems, etc.
