Front End Loader
This position is responsible for operating the front-end loader: a straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and to load trucks around the frac site or yard facility in an efficient manner while adhering to all established safety policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operate front-end loader in a safe and effective manner and follow all safety and company policies
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on the front-end loader to ensure safe and efficient operation. Notify the Shift Supervisor of any safety or maintenance problems immediately.
May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as needed
3 years of experience operating a Front-End Loader
Knowledge of loading and unloading bulk.
Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures.
Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to supervisor.
Clean equipment on a regular basis.
Operates a Loader to complete task such as move and/or transport materials such as dirt, rocks, and other types of aggregate.
Push sand to keep the piles in the assigned area.
Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
May perform other related duties as required.
2-4 Years Operating Experience Preferred.
Ony year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA. Good customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations; acts in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment & random drug screening.
Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
Good follow-through ability: ability to adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they arise.
Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks.
