No supervisory responsibilities.
A Food & Beverage Bartender will set an example of top quality service and customer service by providing timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Assure that opening checklist is completed and that bar area is prepared for opening
- Assure guests is aware of beverage specials and proper protocol when serving in house guests
- Replenish beverage amenities according to the operational standards for the Shore Hotel and the department
- Clean and maintain the Grab & Go when directed
- Accepts inventory when directed by Manager from vendors
- As directed from management will creatively determine drink menus that align to the Shore Hotel
- Must assist in the clean-up of events in a detailed matter to ensure property and materials are kept to the standards of the Shore Hotel and the department
- Knowledge of operating hours of hotel and amenities
- Greet guests with a friendly matter and offer suggestions on beverages they deem fitting
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Complete closing checklist
- Assist in inventory procedures
- Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages
- Wash and sterilize containers
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bare including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the supervisor.

At least 2 years’ experience as a bartender in Food & Beverage for a boutique hotelPrior hospitality experience preferred in a bar areaMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookMust be flexible schedule and able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.EDUCATION :
Associate’s degree in business, management, or hospitality or related field or equivalent of 2 years relevant work experience required.TIPS certification is a mustWORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL WORK DEMANDS :
Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.Able to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally.Regular and on-time attendance is critical.Hours occasionally exceed 40 hours per week.Ability to stand during shiftsOTHER :
