Head Track/Cross Country Coach 2025-26
Position Description:
The individual accepting this temporary extra duty position will act as Head Track/Cross Country Coach for Sand Springs Public Schools for the 2025-2026 School Year.
Site: Charles Page High School
Reports to: Rod Sitton, Athletic Director
Bobby Klinck, Asst. Athletic Director
Ryan Bivin, Building Administrator
The Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to,
running all aspects of a comprehensive 6-12th grade program, including;
a). Practice and event day management and Coaching,
b). media and public relations,
c). fiscal management of the program budget,
d). and other responsibilities assigned by the Athletic Director.
Successful candidates must possess excellent organizational skills, maintain and direct the booster club, interact effectively and appropriately with student-athletes, maintain student-athlete academic integrity, and demonstrate a commitment to Sand Springs Schools as OSSAA regarding rules and regulations.
Special Requirements: (Certification, training, special skills, or previous experience)
1. First aid card.
2. Previous head coaching experience or more is preferred.
3. Bilingual applicants desired but not required.
4. Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
