What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office & Coffee Operations Lead position at Sandals Church?
At Sandals Church, we’re looking for a pioneer to map out the next chapter of this vital role as a passionate Front Office & Coffee Operations Lead! You’ll create a welcoming, seamless experience for all guests while leading and developing a team of volunteers who manage calls, emails, deliveries and guest interactions across campuses, ensuring each guest feels seen and connected to their next step.
In addition to leading the Front Desk, you’ll oversee Coffee and Pantry operations - recruiting and training volunteers, managing inventory, and maintaining vendor relationships. The hope is that as you build and strengthen these teams, you’ll be empowered to shift from daily front office tasks to strategically working closely with our Campus Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Office Lead:
- Recruit, train, and lead 15 volunteers to handle phone, email, deliveries, and in-person inquiries, ensuring guests are connected to the right campus.
- Create an environment where volunteers feel valued and equipped to offer prayer and spiritual support.
- Ensure all guest inquiries are routed and followed up promptly, providing a seamless connection process for guests across all campuses.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized atmosphere that reflects our vision of being Real with ourselves, God, and others.
- Develop and implement systems for managing guest follow-ups using CCB and Google Suite, and team training.
- Implement Real Team strategy.
Coffee Operations Lead:
- Recruit, train, and schedule 3 volunteers to manage coffee service, track supply levels, and handle orders.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring a consistent coffee service experience across all campuses.
- Monitor financials, track expenses and inventory, and identify areas for improvement to ensure budget responsibility.
- Collaborate with Hunter Park Team, Guest Services and Merch Team to align ordering and supply processes.
- Oversee seasonal interns and integrate them into the team experience (TBD)
- Support the Campus Operations team with new initiatives, campus launches, meetings, and project implementation as opportunities arise.

Compensation:
- Pay Range: $20-$23 per hour
- We will provide a pay rate that is within our compensation structure and that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage for a job offer.
