Sandalwood Management, a growing property management firm, is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to manage all phases of talent acquisition for a national portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties. This position requires a resourceful, self-starter that is comfortable working autonomously to achieve their goals. Working closely with site staff and management personnel, the Corporate Recruiter will source talent through online resources, interview applicants, and make hiring recommendations to meet staffing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Write accurate, effective, and competitive job ads to attract the best candidates
- Create, post, and manage advertisements for open positions through online job boards and other means
- Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
- Advises managers and associates on recruiting policies and procedures.
- Review resumes, interview candidates, and make hiring recommendations based on applicant qualifications
- Manage a steady pipeline of candidates within HRIS and Applicant Tracking System
- Enter new hire data in HRIS system
- Assist in scheduling on-site and phone interviews as needed
- Continuously seek active channels to attract talent for open positions
- Inform potential applicants about operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities within the organization
- Perform searches for qualified candidates for difficult or complex positions according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and associate referrals
- Process all new hire and onboarding paperwork, including applications, offer letters, new hire checklists, drug and background check consent forms
- Handle sensitive data and documentation and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Uses independent judgment to make decisions based on precedents and established guidelines. Solves problems using standard procedures and precedents. Knows when to refer issues to supervisor and when to handle them personally. Makes recommendations regarding new solutions and procedures
- Assist with HR department needs as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of full cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proven background in innovative and aggressive sourcing and hiring methods, especially in ‘hard-to-fill’ roles
- Knowledge of hiring best practices required by law, along with basic HR policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
- Computer literacy and experience with MS Office software
Compensation and Benefits
- $45,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience
