Sandalwood Management , a growing real estate firm is seeking a strong and dependable Maintenance Technician , to oversee all functions related to building maintenance for a commercial property in Columbus, OH .
The property is a commercial business complex consisting of 5 buildings, including one, two story office building and four flex buildings. This is a fast paced, full-time position. A successful candidate will be a self starter with knowledge in multiple disciplines, including but not limited to carpentry, painting, pluming, electrical, lighting, and HVAC.
Essential Duties :
- Duties include performing various maintenance repairs in electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, building exteriors, painting, and drywall repairs.
- Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance programs and special projects as required.
- Manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Work with the corporate accounting on budget issues and projects
- Work independently to determine priorities on a daily basis.
- Maintain all associated documentation.
- Interact professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers, and others in the course of daily work.
- Use knowledge of electrical codes applicable to the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical circuits and wiring
- Use knowledge of general commercial HVAC systems
