What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser/Food Runner position at SANDBOX at GODDARD?
Sandbox at Goddard is now open! Our busy spring/summer season is fast approaching and we want YOU to join our team! We are an entertainment destination that includes cornhole, sand volleyball and pickleball with a full restaurant and a full service bar. We have indoor & outdoor seating. Extensive made from scratch menu includes entrees, burgers/sandwiches, steaks, salads, appetizers, and desserts. We also have 10 beers on tap and a large cocktail menu.
This is a fast-paced position with a lot of interaction with customers, so we are looking for individuals who are outgoing, sociable and responsible. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and is able to multitask effectively while remaining calm. Applicants must have a willingness to exceed all guest expectations with over the top service. Experience is preferred, but not required. Individuals need to possess a passion for customer service.
Full and Part-Time positions needed. Must be available nights and weekends.
Hourly wage tips
Responsibilities:
- Interact with guests and staff in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Be able to lift 20 pounds.
- Be able to constantly move around and be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Deal with difficult customers.
- Starting a shift on time.
- Not leaving during a shift without permission from management.
