**Job Overview:**

Are you outgoing, and thrive on creating an atmosphere full of fun and excitement that people can't seem to be able to get enough of? Well, if the answer is "YES", we have a role for you! We are seeking a Game Master for our growing EATertainment business. Our business (Sandbox Social) is located right here in Terre Haute, IN. We are biased — but we are pretty sure we are the coolest place to work for, EVER. And we really believe that we are changing the way people experience EATertainment, one amazing experience at a time. (you will see what we mean when you check out our website and/or app!).

The work is fun, fresh and dynamic. You will be working with some amazing people and the owners of this business as well. They really do craft each experience around our guests and employees and are very involved with all decisions day to day.

We aren’t big on stress. So, while we will expect you to work efficiently and get things done, we focus on open communication and getting things done right the first go around.

The hours are semi flexible however, weekends are mandatory. We will work with your schedule to get a routine that works for you if we can.

You will experience things and make decisions that no big stuffy company would ever allow you to do. You will get to have fun, be creative, and enjoy your work. You will laugh, laugh some more, and meet amazing customers daily.

What do we need from you?

You need to be the type person who gets joy out of getting things done. Every day, you will need to get a list of things done and clean....did I mention clean? We pride ourselves on how clean our EATertainment space and experiences are. You will be required to do Fun stuff. Important stuff. Necessary stuff. How about we get into that stuff?

You need to enjoy talking with people and giving/getting direction.

You need to be a person who loves to deliver memorable and amazing experiences to other people. You need to be someone who feels good by making other people feel good.

The devil is in the details. You don’t need to race through work and get things done half-way (we figured that one out ourselves). We need you to slow things down and get them done right. That way our customers have the best experience possible that they are paying for.

We want you to be meticulous in your work. If you are shy or quiet that is totally cool. We are not looking for the life of the party...all the time. However, with the guests you need to harness your inner performer and give them the fun sincere energy they deserve. We are looking for a good, fun person, who gets stuff done.

In short, your job is to watch our guests while they play in our entertainment experiences and make sure they have a great time in the process. Your job is to have fun at work (who wants a job that isn’t fun?!?). Our business is casual, but we do expect professionalism and punctuality.

But what we don’t expect is perfection or existing skills for you to qualify for this job. We can teach you that. We expect intelligence, energy (did we mention ENERGY), and a get it done attitude. When you have questions, you will find the answers with a quick yell to a teammate or manager that will always support your success.

If this is a job that gets you so excited that you would even do it for free, we would totally accept that offer from you. But if you prefer compensation (and we totally get it...we prefer getting paid as well) this is the job for you!

**Skills:**

- Experience in retail, grocery store, or sales preferred

- Strong sales skills with ability to build and create a fun environment for guests

- Ability to perform basic retail math calculations

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor

- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
